Oh man, Lost Vikings—this SNES sequel from '97 is one of those weird, clever puzzle-platformers that sticks with you. You’ve got three Vikings to swap between, each with their own quirks: Erik sprints and jumps, Baleog swings a sword (and bow, if you find it), and Olaf blocks attacks with his shield or creates makeshift platforms. At first, it feels like a simple "get to the exit" thing, but then the puzzles start demanding you use all three in sync. Like, you’ll need Olaf to shield you from lasers while Erik makes a tricky jump, or Baleog to snipe a switch from across a pit.
The levels get seriously devious later on, but in a good way—more "aha!" than frustrating. And the writing? Surprisingly funny for a SNES game, with the Vikings bickering in that old-school Blizzard charm. If you like puzzles that make you think sideways, this one’s aged way better than most '90s platformers.
