Looney Tunes Racing on Game Boy Color is exactly what it sounds like—you pick Bugs, Daffy, or one of the other classic characters and race them around cartoonish tracks. It’s got that classic GBC top-down racer feel, with a bit of chaos thrown in (because, well, it’s Looney Tunes).
Each character handles a little differently—Taz spins like a tornado if you tap the drift button just right, while Wile E. Coyote’s car feels like it’s barely holding together (fitting, honestly). The tracks have shortcuts and hazards, and sometimes you’ll get hit by an anvil or a random ACME explosion. It’s silly, fast, and way more fun than it has any right to be for a handheld racer from this era.
If you grew up with these characters, the pixel art alone is worth a smile. Just don’t expect Mario Kart—it’s simpler, but the charm’s all there.
