Kwirk is one of those weird little Game Boy puzzle games that somehow sticks with you. You're pushing blocks around maze-like levels, trying to clear a path for your little tomato dude (yeah, the main character is literally a tomato). At first it seems simple, but then the game starts throwing in conveyor belts, teleporters, and blocks that only move in certain directions.
What I love is how it slowly ramps up the complexity—you'll be staring at the screen for minutes trying to visualize the right sequence of moves. The Japanese version was actually called Puzzle Boy, which makes way more sense, but the US got stuck with that ridiculous "He's A-Maze-Ing" tagline. Still, it's way more charming than it has any right to be.
If you're into methodical, think-ahead puzzle games, this one's a hidden gem from the Game Boy's early days.
