Jurassic Park on NES is one of those games that looks simple until you realize how brutal it is. You're basically running around Isla Nublar trying to turn the power back on while raptors and T-rexes try to turn you into a snack. The first five minutes? Panic. Pure panic. You start with a stun gun that barely slows dinos down, and half the time you're just praying you can outrun them.
The levels are these weird maze-like areas where you're hunting for power terminals—sometimes hidden behind random bushes or in caves. And the eggs? Good luck with those. You'll be backtracking a lot once you realize you missed one tucked away in some corner. The controls are stiff by today's standards (Z to jump, X to shoot), but once you get used to it, there's something weirdly satisfying about barely escaping a T-rex by the skin of your teeth.
If you're into retro pain, the sequels are worth a look—especially Rampage Edition, which cranks up the chaos. Just don't expect any mercy from the dinosaurs.
