Game Genie (unl) Game

Remember the Game Genie? That weird little cartridge you'd slap under your NES games before firing them up? This thing was magic—you'd boot up and suddenly you're typing in these bizarre codes that'd do everything from giving Mario infinite lives to completely breaking Zelda in hilarious ways.
Some of the codes were obvious (yeah, I'll take 99 lives, thanks), but half the fun was putting in random letter combos just to see what glitched out. People got crazy creative with it too—turning Super Mario Bros. 3 into entirely different games with level skips and swapped power-ups. The emulator even keeps that nostalgic blue code entry screen exactly how it looked back in the day.
Just don't tell your younger self you're using an emulator—kid you would've called that cheating twice over.
