This one's a weird little NES gem based on the anime Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water. You play as Nadia and Jean, hopping between islands, solving puzzles, and fighting off bad guys with this odd mix of platforming and turn-based combat. The sprites are tiny but charming, and the music's got that classic 8-bit anime vibe—kinda cheesy but weirdly catchy.
At first, the controls feel a little stiff (it is an NES game), but once you get used to swapping between characters mid-jump or timing your attacks just right, it clicks. Some of the puzzles are downright cryptic—good luck figuring out what to do without a guide or knowing Japanese. Still, there's something oddly satisfying about stumbling through it.
If you're into obscure anime adaptations or just love digging up forgotten NES oddities, this one's worth a look. Just don't expect it to hold your hand.
