Dynablaster—or Bomberman, if you grew up with the Japanese version—is that classic NES game where you plant bombs to blow up walls and enemies while trying not to trap yourself. The controls are simple, but the maze-like levels get tricky fast, especially when those weird balloon enemies start chasing you.

At first, it feels like a free-for-all, but once you figure out power-ups (extra bombs, bigger explosions, speed boosts), it turns into this weirdly strategic puzzle. I always go for the remote detonator first—way less chance of accidentally blowing yourself up. The multiplayer mode is where it really shines, though. Nothing like setting a trap for your friend and watching them walk right into it.

If you’re into retro games that are easy to pick up but hard to put down, this one’s a solid choice.
