Beauty and the Beast on NES is one of those weird licensed games that somehow ended up on the console—it's based on the European animated version, not Disney's. You play as Belle trying to rescue her dad from the Beast's castle, jumping between platforms and dodging bats and other random enemies. The controls are a little stiff, but the music's surprisingly decent for an obscure title.
Honestly, it's more of a curiosity than a must-play, but if you're into retro oddities or just want to see how they adapted the story into a side-scroller, it's an interesting few minutes. The sprite work is charming in that early '90s way, even if the gameplay doesn't hold up great.
