Battle Crusher Game

Battle Crusher on Game Boy is one of those hidden gems that somehow makes turn-based combat feel fast and frantic. You start off picking between a few weirdly balanced character classes—I went with the knight first, but honestly, the rogue’s backstabs are way more satisfying when you pull them off mid-battle.
The pixel art has that chunky, nostalgic charm, and the music’s got this weirdly catchy synth loop that somehow doesn’t get old. Fights are quick but surprisingly tactical—you can’t just button-mash, especially when enemies start ganging up on you by the third stage. (Learned that the hard way.)
It’s got that classic Game Boy quirk where some mechanics aren’t explained well, so you’ll spend the first few battles figuring out why your special move keeps missing. But once it clicks, the combat feels stupidly rewarding. If you’re into retro RPGs with bite-sized battles, this one’s a solid time.
