Okay, so Adventures of Rad Gravity is one of those weird, late-era NES games that feels like it was made by people who'd had one too many energy drinks. You play as this dude with a head way too big for his body, swinging around a lightsaber-ish weapon while hopping between planets. The gravity gimmick is fun—there's a level where everything flips upside down and suddenly you're jumping "up" to the ceiling. Classic '90s jank, but in a charming way.
First few minutes? You're immediately thrown into some alien jungle, slashing at floating eyeball enemies and trying not to fall into pits (which, by the way, are everywhere). The controls take a second to get used to—Rad moves kinda floaty, like he's half underwater. But once it clicks, you start appreciating the weirdo creativity. Each planet's got its own vibe, from ice levels to some trippy neon zones that make you wonder what the devs were smoking.
Not gonna lie, it's tough as nails in spots, and the hit detection can be... generous. But if you're into retro platformers with personality (and a protagonist who looks like a bobblehead), it's a neat little time capsule. Just maybe keep the reset button handy.
