Okay, so The Irem Skins Game on SNES is one of those weird little titles that somehow sticks with you. At first glance, it’s just another pixelated platformer—but then you start playing, and suddenly you’re sweating over jumps you swear you timed perfectly. The controls are tight, but not forgiving, and those old-school sprites hide some sneaky level design.
I remember booting it up expecting something basic, only to get hooked by how much personality it packs into such a simple concept. No hand-holding, no tutorials—just you, some questionable hitboxes, and a soundtrack that burrows into your brain. If you’ve got a soft spot for games that don’t care if you rage-quit, this one’s a time capsule worth cracking open.
Just don’t blame me when you’re muttering “one more try” at 2 AM.
