The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2005, developed by Heavy Iron Studios and published by THQ. It was a time when licensed games based on animated films were common on the handheld, and this one picks up right where the movie ended.
You control Mr. Incredible and Frozone, either solo or with a friend, as they chase the Underminer through a linear, side-scrolling path. Your main goal is to stop his drilling machines from destroying the city. You punch robots, smash through barriers, and use each character's special abilities; Mr. Incredible lifts heavy objects and performs ground pounds, while Frozone freezes enemies and creates ice platforms to reach higher areas. The levels are straightforward, screen by screen, with a moderate difficulty that spikes during boss fights. It feels like a brisk, cooperative brawler where you are constantly clearing rooms and moving forward.
