The Incredibles - Rise Of The Underminer (u)(trashman) Game
📅 2005 ✍️ Heavy Iron Studios

Okay, so The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer on GBA is basically that sequel we never got in movie form—you team up as Mr. Incredible and Frozone to punch robots underground. It’s got that classic beat-em-up feel where you’re smashing through tunnels, tossing enemies into each other, and occasionally hitting switches to open doors. Not gonna lie, the controls are a little stiff compared to modern stuff, but there’s something satisfying about chaining combos with Frozone’s ice blasts while Bob just wrecks everything up close.
First ten minutes? You’re already knee-deep in weird tech bases under the city, fighting those spider drones from the first movie. The pixel art actually holds up pretty well—Frozone’s ice effects look surprisingly cool (pun intended) on the tiny screen. Just don’t expect deep storytelling; it’s mostly “go here, punch that” with some quippy dialogue between levels. If you’ve got a buddy for co-op, it’s way more fun, though good luck finding someone with a link cable these days.
Solid little time-waster if you’re into retro licensed games or just miss the Incredibles vibe.
