Okay, so The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer on GBA is basically that sequel we never got in movie form—you team up as Mr. Incredible and Frozone right after the first film’s ending. It’s a side-scrolling beat-em-up with some light platforming, and honestly? Smashing robots with super strength never gets old.
You switch between the two heroes on the fly—Jack Jack’s ice slides feel slick, and Bob’s punches have that satisfying weight to them. The levels are pretty straightforward, but the co-op mode (if you’ve got a buddy) makes it way more chaotic in the best way. Also, the Underminer’s drill-tank is way harder to take down than I expected.
It’s not reinventing the genre, but for a licensed game, it nails the superhero vibe better than most.
