Man, TKO Super Championship Boxing on SNES is one of those old-school brawlers that somehow feels both clunky and satisfying at the same time. You pick from a roster of boxers—some hit like trucks, others just flail around—and then it's straight into the ring with that classic 16-bit crowd noise in the background.
First thing you notice? The controls take a second to click. Jabs feel stiff at first, but once you land a solid uppercut and see your opponent wobble, it’s weirdly addictive. The sprites are chunky, the punches have this exaggerated weight to them, and yeah, the AI cheats sometimes. But that’s part of the charm.
Sting nailed that arcade-y feel—no deep career mode, just quick fights where you either dominate or get humbled in under a minute. Still holds up if you’re into retro sports games that don’t take themselves too seriously.
