Man, Arcade's Revenge is one of those SNES games that looks way easier than it actually is. At first glance, the controls feel smooth—Spidey swings, Wolverine slashes, and Storm floats around like you'd expect. But then you hit these brutal platforming sections where timing is everything, and suddenly you're dying over and over.
It's not unfair, just... demanding. The enemies aren't the real problem—you can dodge most of them if you're paying attention. The real killer is rushing. Jump too early on those disappearing platforms? Dead. Misjudge a web swing? Dead. It's the kind of game where you have to slow down and actually think, which I kinda respect, even when it's frustrating.
Switching between characters keeps things interesting, though. Storm's flight makes some sections way less painful, and Gambit's staff jump has this weirdly satisfying bounce to it. Just don't expect a breezy Saturday afternoon playthrough—this one's a grind.
