So, Sonic Advance 2—this one’s a real step up from the first game if you ask me. The music’s got more punch, and the speed? Oh yeah, it feels faster, like you’re actually blasting through loops and slopes instead of just rolling through them. Cream the Rabbit’s new here, and she’s got this little Chao buddy, Cheese, who’s basically a tiny flying wrecking ball when you need it.

You’ve got the usual crew—Sonic, Tails, Knuckles—but Cream’s floaty jumps change things up. Eggman’s doing his usual world-domination nonsense, so you’re hopping across giant pinball bumpers, dodging spike traps, and racing against the clock. Some of the later zones get brutal, but that first run through Leaf Forest? Pure GBA Sonic bliss.

Just don’t expect it to go easy on you—this one’s got teeth.
