Dragon Ball Z - Supersonic Warriors (k)(projectg) Game

Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors on GBA is one of those rare fighting games that actually makes you feel like you're throwing down as your favorite Z fighters. You start off picking from the usual lineup—Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo—and then realize pretty quick that each character's moveset nails their anime style. Goku's Kamehameha charges up just like in the show, and Vegeta's Final Flash actually feels like it could wipe out a planet.
The fights are fast, with a surprising amount of aerial combos for a GBA game. At first, I kept trying to play it like a traditional 2D fighter, but the real fun comes from juggling opponents mid-air or blasting them through buildings. The stages even change as you fight—you might start in a city and end up smashing through mountains.
It's not perfect—some characters feel way stronger than others—but nailing a perfect combo with Gohan or landing Frieza's death beam never gets old. If you ever wanted to recreate those over-the-top DBZ battles on the go, this is the one.
