Solomon's Club is one of those weird little Game Boy sequels that feels like it got lost in time. It follows up on Solomon's Key, but swaps the puzzle-solving for more of an action-platformer vibe—think less block-destroying strategy, more whacking monsters with your magic staff.
The controls are a little stiff by today's standards, but there's something charming about bouncing between platforms while skeletons and bats swarm you. The music's got that classic Game Boy chiptune grit, too. Not as brain-bending as the original, but still a solid pocket-sized challenge if you're into retro platformers.
Honestly, I spent way too much time replaying the first few levels just to see how far I could get before running out of lives.
