Then the game laughs and dumps a pile of nuisance puyos on you when your opponent chains combos.

What I love is how the Fever mode kicks in—suddenly everything speeds up, your puyos drop faster, and you're scrambling to set up ridiculous chain reactions. The colors pop on the GBA screen, and there's something satisfying about watching a well-planned cascade wipe half the board. First time I played, I got wrecked by the CPU on normal difficulty, which was... humbling.
