Pitman (japan) Game

Pitman is one of those weird little Game Boy gems that never made it outside Japan—kind of a mix between Bomberman and a puzzle game, but with its own weird charm. You play as this little dude who digs tunnels underground, dropping bombs to take out enemies while avoiding getting crushed by falling blocks. The controls take a second to get used to (digging diagonally feels awkward at first), but once it clicks, it’s weirdly addictive.
What I love is how chaotic it gets—you’re scrambling to set traps before enemies corner you, and sometimes the whole screen just collapses on you out of nowhere. The music’s got that classic Game Boy chiptune energy too, all bouncy and frantic. Definitely not the deepest game, but perfect for short bursts of "oh crap, how do I get out of this?" panic.
If you’re into retro oddities, this one’s worth digging up.
