Remember that old GBA game based on the Over the Hedge movie? Yeah, the one where you play as Hammy the squirrel, bouncing around suburbia like a hyperactive furball on caffeine. It’s exactly as chaotic as it sounds—you’re basically wrecking backyard BBQs, dodging sprinklers, and collecting junk food like a tiny, furry raccoon with a sugar rush.
The controls are simple, but the levels get surprisingly tricky. One minute you’re hopping over garden gnomes, the next you’re getting chased by a lawnmower (because of course you are). The art style nails that cartoony movie vibe, and Hammy’s animations are just ridiculous in the best way. Not gonna lie, it’s not some deep masterpiece, but if you want a dumb, fast-paced platformer to kill 20 minutes, this one’s weirdly fun.
Also, yes, there’s a level where you ride a shopping cart. That’s all you really need to know.
