Orynider's Retro World Game

OryNider’s Retro World feels like someone dug up a lost SNES cartridge from 1994 and polished it just enough to run on modern setups. The pixel art is chunky in that perfect way—bright colors, exaggerated animations, and enemies that look like they escaped from an old Saturday morning cartoon.
You start off in this little hub world with branching paths, and I’ll be honest, I got stuck for a solid five minutes trying to figure out whether to take the lava zone or the floating islands first. (Pro tip: lava’s harder, but the power-up there is worth the burns.) The music’s all crunchy synths and bouncy melodies, like someone remixed Mega Man tunes in their basement.
It’s not just nostalgia bait, though—some of those platforming sections will wreck you if you don’t time your jumps right. I died at least three times to the same spinning saw blade before I got the rhythm down. If you miss the days when games didn’t hold your hand, this one’s got your back.
