This one's a weird little gem from the Game Boy era—Oira Jajamaru! Sekai Daibouken is a side-scrolling platformer where you play as a ninja frog (yes, really) hopping through levels that feel like a mix of Mario and some old-school arcade chaos. Jaleco nailed that early '90s jank in the best way—tight jumps, weird enemy designs, and levels that get surprisingly tough after the first few worlds.
You start off with basic shurikens, but grab power-ups like fireballs or a temporary invincibility scroll, and suddenly you're plowing through enemies like a tiny green wrecking ball. The music's got that classic chiptune energy, and the sprite work is charmingly rough around the edges. It never got an official English release, but if you're into retro platformers with personality, it's worth digging up.
Fun fact: They actually brought this back on the 3DS Virtual Console years later, so someone out there still remembers this frog.
