Okay, so Mickey to Minnie no Magical Quest 2 is basically the GBA sequel to that SNES Disney platformer you might remember. It’s got that same bright, cartoony look—like playing through a classic Disney short, but with way more jumping on mushrooms and dodging fireballs.
You switch between Mickey and Minnie (their moves are almost identical, but Minnie’s dress physics are weirdly satisfying). The levels are these big, colorful playgrounds with hidden Mickey-shaped coins and costumes that change your abilities—the wizard robe lets you shoot magic, the mountain climber gear gives you a grappling hook. Boss fights are against classic Disney villains, and yeah, Pete shows up to ruin your day like always.
It’s not super hard, but some of the later levels get sneaky with platforming puzzles. Mostly though, it’s just pure Disney charm with just enough challenge to keep you from breezing through in one sitting. If you’ve got a soft spot for 16-bit era platformers, this one’s a solid time.
