Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2 on GBA is one of those games that just feels good to play—like the controls somehow make sense even when you're mid-air trying to land a tailwhip. You start off in this grungy urban park, and within minutes you're bouncing between quarter pipes, grinding rails, and stacking up combos. The physics are just loose enough to let you pull off ridiculous stuff without feeling totally unrealistic.
What surprised me was how much depth there is once you get past the initial "hey, I can do a backflip!" phase. Different riders have their own stats, and some spots are way harder to nail than they look. I kept wiping out on this one vert ramp for like 20 minutes before realizing I needed more speed. Classic early 2000s BMX vibes, but it holds up way better than you'd expect for a handheld game.
