Pac-man World Game

Pac-Man World on GBA is basically a tiny, portable version of the classic 3D platformer—which is kind of wild when you think about it. You’re still running around as the yellow chomper, bouncing off trampolines, butt-stomping ghosts, and collecting fruit like it’s going out of style. The controls feel a little cramped at first (it is the GBA), but after a level or two, you get used to the rhythm.
What’s cool is how they squeezed in all the weird little gimmicks from the console version—the rev roll, the fruit bazooka, even those annoying minecart sections. It’s not perfect, but for a handheld port, it’s way more fun than it has any right to be. Just don’t expect the graphics to blow you away.
If you’ve got a soft spot for early 2000s platformers, this one’s a solid time-killer. The maze levels are still the best part, though.
