I picked up LEGO Bionicle for the Game Boy Advance back in 2003, a game published by Sorrent. It was a solid little title for its time, fitting right in with the other action platformers on the handheld. You control one of the six Toa heroes, each with their own elemental power, on a quest to defeat the evil Makuta. The island of Mata Nui is your setting, explored screen by screen in a classic side scrolling fashion.

Your main goal is to gather the scattered Great Kanoka Disks to ultimately confront the villain. Gameplay involves running, jumping across platforms, and using your character's specific weapon, like Tahu's fire sword or Lewa's axe. You fight through waves of Bohrok enemies and solve simple environmental puzzles, often by switching between Toa to use their unique abilities. The pacing is fairly straightforward, though some later areas can get tricky with enemy placement. It feels like a straightforward, no frills adventure that captures the Bionicle theme well.
