Kanjiro Game

Kanjiro is one of those Game Boy games that feels like it was made just for people who love getting lost in tiny, pixelated worlds. You start off with this little samurai-looking dude—no fancy cutscenes, just straight into moving blocks and dodging traps. At first, it seems simple, but then the puzzles start twisting your brain in ways you didn’t expect.
The controls are tight, the kind where you can tell the devs actually played it before shipping. And yeah, the pixel art’s got that warm, chunky Game Boy vibe—like someone poured a little extra care into every sprite. It’s not just nostalgia bait, either; the levels get seriously clever later on. I got stuck on this one sliding-block puzzle for way too long before realizing I’d been overcomplicating it the whole time.
If you’ve got a soft spot for retro puzzle-adventures, this one’s a no-brainer. Just don’t blame me when you’re still trying to beat that one level at 2 AM.
