Invader Game

Invader on the GBA is basically Space Invaders with that sweet, chunky pixel look—like someone took the arcade cabinet and stuffed it in your pocket. You’ve got your little ship at the bottom, rows of aliens creeping closer, and that tense feeling when they speed up after each wave. The sound effects nail that retro pew pew vibe too.
At first, it seems simple—just shoot and dodge, right? But then the aliens start zigzagging, dropping bombs faster, and suddenly you’re leaning into turns like it’s a racing game. There’s something satisfying about clearing a whole row at once, especially when they’re one pixel away from crushing you. The power-ups help, but good luck grabbing them mid-barrage.
It’s the kind of game where you say “one more try” at 2 AM, even though your thumbs are sore. If you miss arcade cabinets or just want something brutally straightforward, this’ll scratch that itch. Just don’t blame me when you start seeing falling aliens in your dreams.
