Remember that old Game Boy puzzler where you guide a bunch of cavemen through increasingly ridiculous situations? Yeah, Humans is that game—part strategy, part "why did I just spend 20 minutes trying to stack rocks so my guy could reach a club."
You start with these little pixelated tribesmen who can barely climb a ledge, but as you solve each level (usually by trial and error), they slowly unlock tools like spears, torches, and ladders. The physics are janky in that charming early-'90s way—sometimes your guy just faceplants trying to grab a vine, and you’ve gotta reset. But when you finally get a level right, it’s weirdly satisfying.
Fun fact: The DS version never actually happened, so this Game Boy cart is still the best way to play. Just don’t expect anything flashy—it’s pure, simple, and occasionally frustrating in the way only retro puzzle games can be.
