Dr. Mario & Panel De P Game

Ever played Dr. Mario and thought, "This needs more pastel anime vibes"? That’s basically what you get here—a weirdly satisfying mashup of pill-flipping virus battles and Panel de Pon’s candy-colored tile-matching chaos. The GBA version keeps it simple: you’ve got your classic Dr. Mario mode (still weirdly addictive after all these years) and Panel de Pon’s falling-block puzzles, but now with tiny sprites and that crunchy GBA soundfont.
First few rounds feel familiar if you’ve played either game before, but the speed sneaks up on you. One minute you’re casually lining up colored blocks, the next you’re panic-dropping pills while the music gets way too intense for a game about cartoon germs. The AI doesn’t mess around in higher levels, either. I lost more than a few matches to a particularly smug-looking virus cluster.
It’s not the flashiest version of either game, but there’s something charming about having both in one cart. Perfect for short bursts or if you just want to zone out matching colors for a while. Just don’t blame me when you start humming the fever theme at 3 AM.
