Super Mario Advance Game

Super Mario Advance is basically the GBA version of the classic Super Mario Bros. 2—you know, the one where you pick between Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad, each with their own quirks. Luigi jumps like he’s on the moon, Peach floats for a second, and Toad’s just weirdly fast. It’s got that old-school charm but with slightly updated graphics and some extra voice clips that either make you smile or get annoying after a while.
First thing you’ll notice? The colors pop way more than the NES original, and the controls feel tight. You’re pulling veggies out of the ground, tossing them at enemies, and hopping between those weird dreamy levels with the giant grinning sun in the background. It’s still weirdly satisfying to throw a turnip at a Shy Guy.
Oh, and they threw in the original Mario Bros. arcade game as a bonus—the one where you knock enemies upside-down and kick them off the screen. Nice little extra if you want a break from the main game. It’s Mario, but not the one you’re used to, and that’s kind of the fun of it.
