Dodge Boy (japan) Game

Dodge Boy is one of those weird little Game Boy gems that makes you go, "Wait, this actually slaps?" At first glance, it's just dodgeball—you pick your team, toss the ball around, and try not to eat pavement when someone nails you in the face. But there's something oddly satisfying about the way the ball physics work, especially for an 8-bit game. The AI doesn't mess around either—I got wrecked my first few matches before figuring out the timing for catches and dodges.
Matches are quick, chaotic, and way more strategic than you'd expect. Some characters throw faster, others have trickier angles, and if you're not careful, you'll get cornered fast. The pixel art is simple but charming, with these little victory animations that make winning feel extra sweet. It's the kind of game you boot up thinking, "Eh, just one round," and suddenly it's been an hour.
Definitely a hidden sports title worth digging up if you're into retro handheld stuff.
