Play Digimon : Battle Spirit Online

I picked up Digimon: Battle Spirit for the Game Boy Advance back in 2003, a game published by Bandai. It was a time when the handheld was full of licensed games trying to capture the feel of their shows, and this one was a straightforward attempt to bring the Digital World to a portable screen. It didn't try to be a huge, complex RPG; it was a simpler kind of fighter, built for quick sessions.

You control a single Digimon, running and jumping across single-screen arenas against one or two opponents. The main goal is to knock all the other Digimon off the stage, a bit like a simplified platform fighter. You collect orbs scattered around the level to fill a gauge; once full, your character digivolves into a more powerful form with stronger attacks. The combat is fast and relies on quick hits and throws to build momentum and send foes flying off the edges. It's not a particularly difficult game, but the matches are quick and chaotic. The whole experience feels like a rapid, condensed brawl you can finish in a few minutes.
