Beyblade G-Revolution on GBA is basically the closest you could get to launching real spinning tops at your friends back in the day—just without the risk of breaking your mom’s favorite vase. You start by picking your Beyblade (I always went for Dragoon because, let’s be honest, it looks the coolest), then jump straight into chaotic arena battles where timing your special moves is half the fun.
The customization’s surprisingly deep—you’ll spend way too much time tweaking weight distributions and attack rings before realizing you just made your Beyblade worse. And the tournament mode? It’s got that classic early-2000s anime vibe where every opponent acts like you just insulted their entire bloodline. The sprite work holds up, especially when you pull off a knockout and your top goes flying across the screen like a tiny, angry comet.
It’s janky in that nostalgic GBA way, but if you ever yelled “Let it rip!” unironically, this’ll hit the spot.
