Batman: Vengeance on GBA nails that classic Dark Knight vibe—you start off swooping through Gotham’s rooftops, then brawl your way through thugs in tight alleyways. The combat’s simple but satisfying, with just enough punch to make you feel like Batman without overcomplicating things.
What surprised me was how much they crammed into this little cartridge. You’ve got detective mode, batarangs, even a few stealth sections where you’re lurking in the shadows. The Joker’s up to his usual nonsense, and the story’s got that over-the-top comic book drama—exactly what you’d want.
It’s not perfect—some of the platforming can be a little janky—but for a handheld Batman game, it’s way better than it had any right to be. If you’ve got a GBA and a thing for capes, this one’s a solid pick.
