If you played the first Avatar: The Last Airbender game on GBA, this one picks up right where that left off—Book 2 of the series, so you’re dealing with Zuko’s whole redemption arc and all that. It’s your standard side-scrolling beat-em-up, but with bending mechanics that actually feel kinda satisfying when you pull off combos. Fire punches, earth walls, the usual.
Funny thing—this version’s mostly forgotten now, but the Xbox 360 port became a meme for having achievements you could basically unlock by breathing on the controller. The GBA one’s a bit more involved, though still not exactly hard. Mostly just fun to mess around with if you’re into the show.
You’ll switch between Aang, Katara, and Toph (no Sokka, sadly), each with their own moves. Toph’s earthbending feels chunky in the best way, like you’re actually hurling rocks instead of just tapping buttons. Doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it’s a solid time-killer for fans.
