Ultra Keibitai - Monster Attack (j)(caravan) Game

Ultra Keibitai - Monster Attack is one of those weird little GBA gems that never left Japan, but man, it’s a blast if you dig quirky tower defense. You’re basically setting up turrets and traps to stop waves of monsters from breaking through—except everything’s got this chunky, colorful pixel art style that makes it feel like an arcade cabinet from 1995.
At first, I had no idea what half the upgrades did (thanks, moon runes), but trial and error pays off. The samurai turret? Surprisingly OP once you figure out its sweet spot. The caravan mode throws you into these short, frantic rounds where every second counts, and before long, you’re frantically rearranging defenses while monsters pour in from all sides. It’s chaotic in the best way.
Definitely worth a shot if you’re into retro Japanese oddities or just want something different from the usual tower defense grind.
