Turn and Burn is one of those SNES flight sims that actually makes you feel like you're in the cockpit—if you can get past the slightly janky controls at first. You start off on an aircraft carrier, scrambling to intercept enemy fighters before they wreck your assigned patrol zones. The first mission throws you right into the chaos: radar blips everywhere, fuel running low, and that moment of panic when you realize you've got two bandits on your tail.
What I like is how it forces you to think like a real pilot—managing speed, altitude, and those tight turns without stalling out. The Red Sector zones feel like they're actually under threat, not just static targets. And yeah, the graphics are dated now, but there's something satisfying about lining up a perfect missile shot while your wingman chatters in your ear.
Just don't expect Ace Combat levels of polish. This is pure '90s sim-lite with all the quirks that come with it.
