Remember that old Smurfs game on SNES? Yeah, the one where you bounce around as those tiny blue guys trying not to get wrecked by Gargamel’s traps. It’s way more challenging than it looks—those mushrooms don’t always land where you want, and Brainy Smurf moves like he’s stuck in molasses.
You’ve got three Smurfs to pick from (Papa, Smurfette, or Brainy), and each handles differently. I always went with Smurfette—she jumps a little higher, which helps when you’re dodging those annoying bats. The music’s got that classic SNES charm, all bouncy and cheerful, even when you’re getting chased by a giant spider for the fifth time.
It’s not the deepest platformer out there, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about hopping through those candy-colored levels. Just don’t expect it to go easy on you—Gargamel plays dirty.
