About The King Of Dragons
Capcom released The King of Dragons for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1994. It arrived during a period when side-scrolling action games were common on the platform, offering a straightforward fantasy adventure. You move through the game's world screen by screen, clearing each area of enemies before you can proceed.
You control one of three characters: a Fighter, a Cleric, or an Elf, each with different strengths in melee and ranged combat. Your main goal is to fight through five worlds, defeating the dragon that rules each one. You attack with your weapon, collect gold and treasure to upgrade your stats, and use magic spells that consume a limited mana supply. The pacing is constant, with enemies swarming from all sides, and the difficulty is noticeable, especially when dealing with multiple projectiles.
