About The Itchy & Scratchy Game
I first played The Itchy & Scratchy Game on the Super Nintendo in 1995, a time when licensed platformers were everywhere. It was developed by Bits Studios, and it tried to capture the chaotic spirit of the cartoon. You control Itchy, the mouse, and your goal is to fight through levels to defeat Scratchy, the cat. The game is structured screen by screen, and you have to clear all the enemies in one area before you can move to the next.
Your main tool is a mallet for close combat, but you also find temporary weapons like a bow that shoots plungers or a machine gun.
