Okay, so The Itchy & Scratchy Game on SNES is basically what you’d expect—total cartoon chaos. You play as Itchy, and your whole job is to absolutely wreck Scratchy in the most ridiculous ways possible. There’s a bunch of mini-games where you’re launching anvils, setting up mouse traps, or just straight-up blasting him with a shotgun (yep, it’s that kind of cartoon).
The graphics are bright and loud, like the show, and the controls are simple—mostly just running around and mashing buttons to trigger whatever violent gag you’re pulling off. Some of the mini-games are way easier than others, though. The one where you’re dodging falling pianos? Brutal. But the anvil toss? Weirdly satisfying.
If you grew up watching these two tear each other apart on The Simpsons, it’s a fun little nostalgia trip. Just don’t expect some deep strategy—it’s pure, dumb, over-the-top cartoon violence. And honestly? That’s kind of the point.
