Man, The Amazing Spider-Man - Lethal Foes on SNES is one of those games that makes you feel like you’re actually swinging through New York—even if the graphics are chunky by today’s standards. The first thing you’ll notice is how smooth the controls are; Spidey flips, punches, and shoots webs like he should, which is rare for a 16-bit superhero game.
You start off dodging thugs in alleys, then suddenly Doc Ock shows up, and the whole thing turns into this chaotic brawl where you’re bouncing off walls and webbing guys to lampposts. The levels get pretty tough—some of those platforming sections had me retrying way more than I’d like to admit—but nailing a perfect web swing over a bottomless pit feels amazing.
And yeah, Venom’s in here too, looking like a pixelated nightmare (in the best way). If you grew up with Spider-Man comics or just love old-school action games, this one’s a solid pick. Just don’t blame me when you get stuck on that one rooftop level for half an hour.
