Teddy Boy Game

Man, Teddy Boy on the Sega Master System is one of those weird, forgotten arcade ports that somehow ended up feeling right at home on the console. You control this little dude in a striped shirt running through maze-like levels, shooting weird blob enemies and collecting... whatever those floating things are supposed to be. Points, I guess?
The controls take a second to get used to—your shots have this slight delay that makes dodging enemies tense, especially when they start swarming. And the music? That repetitive synth loop either gets stuck in your head forever or drives you nuts after 10 minutes. No in-between.
It’s not deep, but there’s something oddly satisfying about clearing a screen just right. Definitely one of those "one more try" kind of games, even if the later stages get brutally unfair. If you dig obscure retro stuff, it’s worth a look just for the weird charm.
