Strider on the Sega Master System is a stripped-down but still fun version of Capcom’s arcade and Genesis hit. You play as Hiryu, this cyber-ninja dude with a ridiculous plasma sword that cuts through robots like butter. The Master System version loses some of the flashy animations and stages, but the core gameplay’s there—wall-jumping, slicing up weird sci-fi enemies, and that killer soundtrack.

It’s shorter and easier than the Genesis version, but honestly? Still a blast if you’re into retro action. The first level throws you right into a snowfield full of mechs to dismantle, and the controls feel surprisingly tight for an 8-bit port. Just don’t expect the sprawling levels from the arcade original.
