About Bomber Raid
Bomber Raid came out for the Sega Master System, developed by Sega. It was one of the many shooters available on the platform during the late 80s, a time when developers were refining the formula established by arcade hits.
You pilot a lone fighter ship, scrolling vertically through waves of enemy aircraft and ground installations. Your main goal is to survive each stage, destroying everything in your path to reach and defeat the boss. The game gives you a primary forward shot and a limited supply of screen clearing bombs, which you deploy with a separate button. Enemy formations are dense and their fire patterns become more complex as you advance, demanding quick reflexes and careful bomb management. Navigating the relentless assault makes for a tense and focused experience.
