Okay, so this is the Sega Master System version of Star Wars—yeah, the one based on A New Hope. It’s a weird little mix of side-scrolling platforming (where Luke jumps around Tatooine like he’s in a budget Super Mario) and these top-down shooter bits where you’re blasting TIE Fighters in the X-Wing. The sprites are tiny, and the controls take some getting used to, but there’s something charming about how janky it feels. Also, the Death Star trench run at the end? Way harder than it should be.
