Solomon No Kagi - Oujo Rihita No Namida (japan) Game

Solomon no Kagi is one of those weird, charming Sega Master System games that never made it outside Japan. You play as this little knight dude trying to rescue Princess Rihita, jumping between platforms and slashing at enemies with a surprisingly stiff sword. The controls take some getting used to—your guy moves like he's stuck in molasses at first, but you adapt.
What makes it stand out is the bizarre mix of fantasy and sci-fi. One minute you're fighting dragons, the next you're blasting robots with magic spells. The music's got that classic 8-bit chiptune energy, all bouncy and slightly off-key. And yeah, the princess cries actual pixel tears—it's oddly dramatic for such a simple game.
Definitely a niche pick, but if you're into retro oddities, it's got personality. Just don't expect it to play like a modern platformer.
