About Super Pinball - Behind The Mask
Super Pinball: Behind the Mask came out for the Super Nintendo in 1994, developed by KAZe. It was part of that wave of pinball games trying to capture the feel of real tables on a console, back when digital pinball was still figuring itself out. You got a few different tables in one cartridge, which was pretty standard for the time.
You control the flippers, trying to keep the ball in play across several themed tables. The main goal is just to score as many points as possible before you drain your last ball. Each table has its own layout with ramps, bumpers, and targets; hitting specific sequences can start multiball or other special modes. The game moves quickly, and the physics feel a bit floaty compared to some other SNES pinball titles, which can make precise shots tricky. It is a straightforward arcade experience that feels satisfying when you finally nail a difficult ramp shot.
