Super Conflict is one of those old-school SNES strategy games that feels simple at first but gets surprisingly deep once you start moving units around. You pick from six factions—each with their own strengths—and then it's all about outmaneuvering the other guy on these hex-based maps. Tanks beat artillery, infantry beats tanks... you know the drill, but the terrain actually matters here, which keeps things interesting.
First time I played, I got wrecked because I just sent everything forward without thinking. Turns out, holding choke points and using air units to scout ahead makes a huge difference. The AI isn't pushover either—it'll punish you if you leave a flank open. Graphics are basic (it's the SNES, after all), but the gameplay holds up if you're into slower, tactical stuff. Definitely a hidden gem for strategy fans.
